Terms of Service

These terms apply whenever you book an installation with TLink WiFi or use tlinkwifi.sbs. They cover what we do, how pricing and payment work, what we need from you, our warranty, and how we handle any problems.

In short: we agree a fixed price with you before we start, we complete the work to the quoted scope, and you pay on completion. Cancellations made more than 4 hours before your appointment are free. Every installation carries a 12-month workmanship warranty.

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking our installation services or using our website at https://tlinkwifi.sbs/, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not book or use our services.

These terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.

If you are booking on behalf of a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

2. Services Provided

The exact scope of your job is the scope confirmed in your written quote. Work outside that scope may be quoted separately and requires your approval before we proceed.

3. Service Scheduling and Appointments

Booking

  • Services must be scheduled in advance through our website, by phone or by email
  • All appointments require confirmation by email or phone before the visit
  • Same-day and emergency service is subject to availability and may carry an additional fee
  • We will confirm the expected arrival window and will contact you if anything changes

Cancellation and rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment to receive a full refund of any prepayment
  • Cancellations made 4–24 hours before the appointment may incur a $50 cancellation fee
  • Cancellations under 4 hours, or a no-show at the door, will be charged the full service fee
  • Weather-related cancellations, or cancellations caused by us, will be rescheduled at no charge
Full cancellation tiers are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where the two documents differ, the Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to cancellation charges.

5. Customer Responsibilities

To help us complete your installation safely and to the standard we'd like, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the installation site, including wall type and construction
  • Ensure safe, clear and reasonably accessible access to the work area
  • Be present, or arrange for an adult with authority to be present, during the appointment
  • Provide necessary WiFi passwords, account logins and device access needed for setup
  • Disclose any known structural concerns, hidden pipework, wiring or asbestos before drilling
  • Remove or secure valuables, fragile items and wall-mounted items from the work area
  • Confirm you have permission to authorise installation work if you rent or lease the property
  • Ensure pets are safely secured during the visit

Where accurate information isn't provided and the job can't be completed as a result, a return visit or reschedule may be charged. Our Refund Policy sets out when this applies.

6. Warranty and Guarantees

Service warranty

  • All installations are covered by a 12-month warranty on workmanship
  • The warranty covers mounting hardware installed by us and the integrity of the installation
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by customer modifications, accidents, misuse or third-party work
  • 100% satisfaction guarantee — if you're not satisfied within 7 days, we'll return and put it right at no charge
  • WiFi installations include a post-installation speed and coverage check, recorded on site

Equipment and parts

  • Mounting brackets and hardware supplied by us carry the manufacturer's warranty in addition to our workmanship warranty
  • Defective parts supplied by us will be replaced at no charge during the warranty period
  • Customer-supplied equipment is not covered by our warranty, though we will always test it before and after installation
  • WiFi performance affected by ISP outages, provider-side changes or faulty customer equipment is outside our warranty scope
Warranty support is free. If something we installed stops working as it should, contact us and we'll arrange a return visit — no call-out charge within the warranty period.

7. Liability and Insurance

Our liability

  • We carry comprehensive public liability insurance
  • Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided, to the extent permitted by law
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing wall, structural, electrical or cabling defects
  • Damage to customer property caused by our negligence will be repaired or reasonably compensated

Customer liability

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate property and equipment information
  • Damage resulting from undisclosed property conditions is the customer's responsibility
  • Customers assume the risk of installation in non-standard or unusual conditions that they have authorised
  • Customers are responsible for backing up data on devices they ask us to configure
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

8. Safety and Compliance

All services are performed in accordance with:

  • Local building codes and regulations
  • Manufacturer installation guidelines and load ratings
  • Recognised industry safety standards
  • Applicable workplace health and safety requirements

Where a job requires specialist electrical work — for example installing a new power outlet behind a TV — we will advise you and, where required, arrange for a licensed electrician. We do not undertake regulated electrical work ourselves.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
  • We collect only the information needed to quote, schedule and complete your installation
  • We never sell your personal information
  • Any passwords or account details you share for setup are used only to complete the service
  • We recommend changing any password shared with us after the visit if you have concerns

10. Dispute Resolution

Resolution process

  • Start with direct contact with our customer service team — most issues are resolved quickly
  • We aim to respond formally to written complaints within 30 days
  • If we can't resolve it directly, we'll consider mediation through an accredited dispute resolution service
  • If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may pursue arbitration or the courts as permitted by law

Limitation period

Claims should be raised within one year of the service date, or within one year of when the issue was reasonably discovered.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will:

  • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • Post a notice on tlinkwifi.sbs for significant changes
  • Notify registered customers by email where changes materially affect them
  • Provide the updated terms with any quote issued after the change
Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones in force on the date you book.
